The logo was created from an original daguereotype held by the Peterboro Area Historical Society. Interested organizations and individuals are invited to copy the logo for reproduction on other websites, on the condition that it be used without modification, and that it incorporate a link to the Gerrit Smith Virtual Museum or one of the mirror sites.
